10 July 2020 | About one month into my summer break and Iโm still thoroughly enjoying all of the literature thatโs been on the back burner through the semester. Despite having loved reading since I was four years old, I had never ventured into some classic authors until the past couple of yearsโcase in point, my first Dickens was A Tale of Two Citites earlier this year! Thereโs a bit of me that wants to feel ashamed of this, but simultaneously Iโm rather happy that I still have so manyย โdiscoveriesโ to make in my mid-twenties and beyond.ย

have you done or are you planning to do any activities (such as work experience, summer schools or watching lectures) other than normal work during the summer?
yes, i have a lot of music stuff to do. everything (lessons, summer festivals) is virtual which is so different (not in a good way), but at least it is more convenient and casual. plus, because i have no idea which of the things iโm working on next year will even happen, itโs sometimes hard to find motivation. but iโm lucky that i like most of my repertoire!
Today Iโm studying for my exams in January. I have 5 big exams in the first week, so I have some prepping to do! ๐ฉ๐ปโโ๏ธ
