02/22/2018 –– the usual: my kindle and grammar notes

Someone should have told me that I would need more than 24 hours in a day when being a full-time student with a full-time job and an internship. I’m stressin’ and want to sleep for five days straight or read a book of my choosing and not for school!

I just got accepted into George Washington University's publishing master’s program! That’s two of the four schools I applied to! I’m still waiting to hear back from Emerson College and NYU before I make my big decision :D

Hi :) I’m Laura. I’m in my last semester of undergrad (thank the universe) at SF State and I’m a Liberal Studies major with a minor in Technical and Professional Writing. In a couple of months, I am hoping I get into of one of the four publishing master’s programs that I applied to.

Some fun facts about me: I love to read and obsess over fictional characters, so this blog might be about school and books. I try to write poetry (even self-published something, lol). I’m going into a publishing master’s program to hopefully start my own publishing company one day. I was once a student-athlete and played basketball at a community college and university.

I have yet to start a bullet journal despite having all the stationery supplies that I’ve bought, but I did finally make a page in my planner since I go back to school tomorrow and need to get things done on my day off. I’m hoping I can use this studyblr to stay motivated and organized with my planner, school, and life.

Lastly, I just wanted to say that @emmastudies, @journalsanctuary, @sootudying, @rhubarbstudies, and @studyinginstyle are the few amazing blogs i follow and have inspired me to start my own studyblr.
