Soooo pretty much everything in my life has come to halt including my forensics competition that I’ve been looking forward to all year :( The one thing that I do still have to finish is our yearbook final deadline which is causing Mass Amounts of Stress.

hey all ! it’s been a while since i made my own post.

here are some highlights and lowlights (anyone else listen to gals on the go?)

lowlights:

☽ i’ve struggled with gathering mental and physical energy to do my work

☽ i’ve spent lots of time on mandatory events, classes, and assignments that i don’t particularly enjoy (as much as i love my extra curriculars and my majors, there are aspects to them i don’t always enjoy)

☽ because of these two points, i haven’t spent as much time on my studyblr as i would like

highlights:

✰ i’ve created room for activities with friends that i genuinely enjoy and don’t feel obligated to do

✰ i’m representing the organizations i’m a part of with pride — whether on a shirt, instagram, or stickers, i’m actively choosing to remember why i choose to be a part of them

9.28.2018 | Wow guys. Well, it’s four weeks into my first semester of seminary and I am pretty much just swamped so I’m sorry I haven’t posted anything about what I’ve been up to in quite some time! This is a little glimpse into what my intro Koine Greek revision actually looks like. I do a lot of work late at night (so with horrid lighting) and I feel frantic and overwhelmed often, BUT I feel so overjoyed to be where I am. 

The Lord has been showing me so much of His goodness and provision, and though I said I feel “frantic” and “overwhelmed” it’s nothing like in undergrad. I’m learning that the push to meet a deadline, the healthy urgency of accomplishing the work set before you, and knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that you CANNOT do it on your own strength is a remarkably refreshing and humbling place to be. My plate is full, but I know the God putting all the food on the table, and I am trusting Him to help me clear my plate.

Finishing up some reading in between classes. I’m seeing Isle of Dogs tomorrow with a bud, so I’m super excited about that!
