Just two days ago, I stepped onto French soil, ready to begin an exhilarating new chapter in my academic life – pursuing a PhD in the beautiful country of France. Though I haven't officially joined the lab yet, my days have been anything but idle.

As I plan the day ahead, a cup of tea in my hand and I savor the moments. Navigating my emotions, I'm determined to find solace amidst the excitement, all while silently grappling with the occasional undercurrent of social anxiety.

Her aesthetic reminds me of Hermione Grainger and Anne Shirley Cuthbert (if you can imagine it)

She’s the type of person that if we ever went to the same school, I’d befriend her instantly (I did have a friend in high school that reminds me of her tbh)

Because of her, I’ve decided to continue reading Anne of Green Gables (I put that book on momentary pause) and made me want to rewatch Anne with an E again.

Her name is Ruby Granger. I’ve been binging her videos all day and she is just so wholesome. She might not be for everyone with her aesthetic and interest but for those who love English lit, books, classics, Victorian era style or the “traditional British/English style”, I’d say give her videos a go.

The first video I watch of hers was talking about how to stay productive... and from then, I stayed.

So yeah, I don’t really talk or promote youtubers or in her case “studytubers” but this girls vibe was so chill and uplifting.
