During the flood that took the lives of many Storm Chasers a cycle and a half ago, Thrill was considered one of the many losses that fateful day. While her best friend Scorch begged for the two of them to flee, Thrill dove into the caves, determined to save lives and make her mark upon the Storm Chasers. Unfortunately, fate had other plans and instead of saving others, she was trapped in the ensuing cave in that was believed to claim many lives.

But not all of the cats stuck beneath the earth perished. Thrill found herself among a group of survivors, now trapped and unable to free themselves. Their attempts to dig themselves out failed, and their wishes of rescue went unanswered.

Eventually the lost Storm Chasers developed their own community. Now known as The Forgotten, they formed a new way of life focused on survival within the tunnels they were forced to call home. Thrill, as one of them, changed from the danger-seeking storm chaser she had once been. As many cats around her perished, she became obsessed with finding way to save them, coming up with a system she was certain allowed her to know the future.

Her predictions diverted cats from the most dangerous tunnels and soon she gained the respect of the Forgotten. When their previous leader died from one of her predictions, she was deemed the new Luminary. With her gift, she is certain she will bring The Forgotten back to the surface.
