how do you make your subliminals? do you layer? how fast do you speed up your affirmation audios and what kind of technique or language do you use to make yours?
How I Make My Subliminals!
Long post incoming because I could go on and on about subliminal creation, I love it so much ^_^ TLDR at the end.
First I spend a couple of hours typing affirmations on my phones notes app. I use a very exaggerated style of affirmations, identity affirmations (work faster because your desire is now part of your identity which you operate and see the world through so now you operate as if you already have the desire: LOA), past tense affirmations, safety affs, healed nervous system affs, and a whole bunch of other styles so that I am covering all the bases.
I re-read them and make sure there are no spelling mistakes or anything that contradicts. I structure my affs to fit every single situation since I tend to overthink and I want to be able to cover a lot of concerns and topics in one sub. So all my subs are pretty comprehensive of the topic they are built around.
I would have about 300 affirmations minimum, sometimes I have more but I don't like layering too many if they get drowned in the process. In both first person and second person, so "I shift on command." And "You shift on command" are examples of this. I then record all the affirmations and it doesn't matter if you use text to speech or a real voice for recording both work just as well. Infact, I have experimented with it over the years and found that tts doesn't get as garbled as real voices when you speed it up and layer so I mostly use tts and it gives great results.
I also use a specific term "desired and intended reality." When talking about where you shift to because some people like to refer to it as DR or IR so I mashed them into one and I really like it. So "I shift to my desired and intended reality easily and quickly." Is an example of that.
Then on my computer, I layer the audio tracks on top of eachother, speed them up just enough that they are still recognisable, and pitch up the different layers so that they don't get drowned out by the layering. I lower the volume and make sure that each track can still be heard but not so much that you can properly make out what is being said with your conscious mind but easily picked up by the subconscious mind.
I add brown noise instead of rain sounds or water because I like it more. I've been doing this since 2020 (making subs for myself) so I am pretty comfortable and I do all of it pretty quickly now.
I use English, even though my native language is Urdu, I am not very fluent in it (its a shame because Urdu is so beautiful) so I don't know how many of the shifting terms translate into Urdu. English is a safe bet because most of the world knows it. I've heard people say that the language doesn't matter and the sub will work all the same but I haven't personally used any subs in other languages that I know so I can't say for sure from my own experience.
When making subs for YouTube not personal use, the hardest part is choosing the music, making the video along with it (I am a beginner at video editing) and finding a thumbnail. I spend hours agonising over the kind of vibe that I am trying to convey (shifting being whimsical, relaxing and natural). Usually it takes me about an hour to make the actual subliminal track with affirmations but it takes me so much longer picking out everything else lmao.
When I made subs just for myself I would only make the track and loop it with my other subs for up to 3 hours and then listen to it while I sleep. Most of my best subs were the ones I made in the beginning of this year and they also contributed heavily to my mindset change and subsequent breakthrough with shifting. I'm going through my affirmation documents and tweaking them to be more generalised before posting them so stay tuned for that.
Enough of my rambles, let me put it shortly
1. Write affirmations in different styles.
2. Record them using tts in first and second person.
3. Layer the affirmations over each other in 4 different layers. Pitch them differently and lower the volume.
4. Add brown noise over the affirmations and you're done!
