Fictive culture is having an otherwise 'perceived /canon' villain from a certain source, just for everyone who's ignorant and uneducated enough to assume that you're now completely armed with 300 bombs set for detonation at the hint of a sneeze, and you're going to take everyone with you because you're now suddenly dangerous.
It's only irony, though, when that alter ends up being your Gatekeeper / persecutor all in one.
