Indulge in the perfect combination of chocolate and peanut butter with these delightful cookies. The soft, fudgy texture will satisfy your sweet tooth.
Ingredients: 1 cup creamy peanut butter. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1 cup packed brown sugar. 2 large eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips. 1/2 cup chopped peanuts optional.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line baking sheets with parchment paper. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the peanut butter, softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and well combined. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the semisweet chocolate chips and chopped peanuts, if using. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving some space between each cookie. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still slightly soft. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once the cookies are completely cooled, enjoy the rich chocolate peanut butter fudge flavor!
