ESSENTIAL MOM MOVEMENT STRENGTH 💪 CIRCUIT: Exercise 6️⃣ . 🙋🏻♀️Who is ready to return to intensity? . 🙋🏻♀️How many moms out there are ready to bust out that jog stroller and get moving? . That’s awesome!! BUT, we have to earn that ability first! Remember that it takes up to a year for the healing process to complete itself after giving birth. . Take your time and nourish your body with high quality nutrition and proper, progressive movement. Then...build towards intensity. . Strong hamstrings and glutes are one component of a solid foundation for returning to intensity. . Here is a progression of the floor bridge which is a foundational exercise in your postpartum recovery program! . Here I am using one of my favorites, @reactive_training Coretex with a 6kg @viprpro . The two work together just like your core and pelvic floor! . My glutes and hamstrings must react to the movement of the ViPR as I shift from left to right at the top of the bridge. . The pelvic floor reacts subconsciously and breath is consciously performed, exhaling at the top of the bridge. . This exercise prepares me for the more dynamic exercise 7️⃣! . Stay tuned, one more to go! . . . . . #moms4healthusa #femalechainreaction #coretex #reactivetraining #functionfirst #healingprocess #pelvicfloor #collagen #resilience #momfitness #diastasisrecti #womenshealth #giftfellow #appliedfunctionalscience #momhealth (at Holly Springs, North Carolina) https://www.instagram.com/p/BmIsBocAf60/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1omt2ckj2gvkm
