I've been researching for over a year, and now, I'm making the bullet points I pulled from vulvar hypospadias studies (link) available for the public to read. There are drawn diagrams. It ranges from Anteriorly Deflected Urinary Stream (ADUS), female/vestibular/covered/hidden/functional hypospadias, urethral-hymen fusions, and a few other terms that are used.

Hi there!

I am an academic researcher from Whitman College who is interested in the rules of dating, sex, and relationships among queer women. I am conducting survey research with young adult queer women to better understand the ways lesbian and queer women talk about and experience sex and relationships.

This is one of the first studies to examine sexual scripting in queer women. Most research in this area focuses on heterosexual samples, and there is little research in this area that focuses on queer women. 

Anyone who is 18-29 years old and identifies as a queer woman or woman-aligned (trans and nonbinary inclusive) is eligible for the survey. You do not have to have had any sexual or relationship experiences to participate.

The survey is hosted through Qualtrics. All surveys are anonymous. The survey does not collect IP addresses or other tracking information.

Extra clarrification on some things under the cut :)

We’re like actually f*cked if we have “la la la I can’t hear your word salad they didn’t teach me in school” and “actually I’m going to believe what feels right to me, you just don’t get it because you’re stupid” responses to real scientific data whenever it makes us uncomfortable. How is that differentiating us from deliberately ignorant conservatives that don’t unpack their unconscious biases? These users could have at least asked for some sources, but the very idea of fluid sexuality scares the living daylight out of some monosexuals who chant “born this way and the rest is comphet” under their breath till the scaries go away.

This is why so many queer people refuse to look at the data that demonstrates perfectly well that monosexism exists, and instead prefer to crowdsource opinions from their social media followings (totally unbiased, I’m sure) about whether bisexuals are really oppressed by lesbians and what are all the ~supposed~ privileges lesbians are supposed to have over bisexuals when bisexuals are the majority group of the LGBTQ+ community and lesbians are the minority group, and are we sure that “monosexual” isn’t just a slur?—Which of course reveals a truly terrible understanding of structural oppression, marginalisation, and intersectionality.

under the current political climate, histories of marginalized groups are actively being silenced, shut down, and disappearing.

i’m working on creating an archive of queer personal narratives and experiences. it’s extremely important to me to continue building up our community and to make sure our voices are not silenced. i’m starting small, with the hopes of building it up, as i get no profit from this so it’s just me managing the site.

i’ve linked a form for any and all queer people to fill out, telling their stories (with little to no identification because i understand how unsafe times are rn). if you have more to say feel free to message me directly to be in the archive.

i’m based out of the united states so that’s where my experience lies but i understand this is happening all over.

Inspired by my fujosisters analyzing ship moments, I wrote some M/M, F/F, and M/F vignettes for you to rate on a platonic/romantic scale. It'll take about six or so minutes to complete, nothing too long

Outright is conducting a study aimed at gathering evidence about the experiences of LGBTIQ students globally!

We will investigate the laws, policies, and practices that either support or obstruct LGBTIQ individuals’ educational rights. Additionally, we will analyze the consequences of inadequate protective measures and the presence of inclusive policies, and we will assess the impact on LGBTIQ learners of the availability of comprehensive and inclusive sexuality education.

Part of this research includes a survey for 18 to 28-year-olds about their recent educational experiences in primary and secondary school. The survey is available in five languages, and you can respond in any language.
