Pilates concept of control... right now as a teacher I'm working on controlling the loudness in my studio. I am trying to teach my clients to to accept this work not in pure silence but to find the stillness inside that comes from not talking as much. For some reason they still process energy by feeling a need to maintain constant conversation for the entire session. It's certainly a more advanced way to work. The Pilates concept control, today we focused on controlling our internal set up before we did a movement. So the flow went internal set up-- move-- internal set up--- complete the movement. We tried to integrate the set up so it went with what we were doing. Super hard to do.
