Hello darlings, I'm having a rest day today so here is a selfie from yesterday's jam session :3. I've been finger wagged at by friends to make sure not I'm not over training with the same method I #encouRAGE them to eat breakfast lol #practicewhatyoupreach. Yesterday at the gym my training advice was snubbed in favour of bodybuilding.com. I merely said that when you do a barbell upright row there's no need to bring your elbows past your shoulders because it increases your risk of injury. But if he'd rather listen to a website vs a person I'd rather not be responsible for someone like that anyway lol. #notmyproblem Yesterday I was messing around & trying some of Zarya's victory poses and I'm not going to lie I WUB how my arms are starting to look :3. Just because I'm a Gremlin D.va and smol fluffy potato that won't stop me from training like Zarya. Goals, goals, goals, goals, goalsssss!
Feeling pretty good today =] This ended up being goals lol
Even though I only got a 90% on a quiz I should have gotten a 100% on, I'm exhausted, I have too much laundry to do, my hands are THROBBING, and I'm taking on a lot more than I can handle... I am feeling pretty happy today. RIght now my daughter is having a "birthday party" with her giant monkey. She is singing "happy birthday, happy birthday" over and over again. She is turning into an amazing little girl, although I hate to admit it she soon won't be a baby anymore. I don't have a point to this post. I guess I just wanted to share how happy I am! I have a lot of goals for this semester, I have a lot of hope that I will achieve those goals. I guess I can list them.
1. Make the group I am now president of on campus one of the best groups, and reach a lot of the student body.
2. Get straight A's (shouldn't be too hard taking Biology A&P, Speech, and Film art and appreciation).
3. Make it to the gym at least 4 days a week! (Also do more cardio when I am there).
4. Read a book or more a week outside of school. I have been rereading the pretty little liars series all summer and I will continue to read that. I am also on the side of that reading a book called How to deal with difficult people. I want to read The Controversy.
5. Make more connections with others and not be as antisocial. I have kind of been forced to do this with all the clubs/groups I am involved with but I would like this to be a trait of my everyday life not just at school.
6. Continue toning my muscles and train for a competition (maybe in like a year or two). Problem areas: my hamstrings! Can't get those toned to save my life. Also my stomach, after a recent ultrasound I found out my uterus is still as swollen as it was about 6 weeks post postpartum. This was really discouraging but in a way it made me feel better about why I see muscles but my tummy still bulges out a little after all my hard work.
7. Just work hard at being a better person.
I hope sharing these goals will help other people reach, or inspire them to make their own goals. Have a great week everyone!
