When you search factives on any social media you barely get anything about factives and that sucks :( I just wanna find stuff we as a factive heavy system can relate to :((

Switching is like suddenly showing up at someone's last save point

So the other day my stepmom and I got into a slightly heated discussion regarding mental health portrayed in social media. Not just DID, but mental health in general. Including neurological disorders like Tourettes syndrome. She talked about how basically everyone speaking about their mental illnesses/disorders on YouTube and TikTok are all faking. ESPECIALLY people with DID. Which I think is very judgemental and unfair because not everyone is faking. Of course there are fakers out there, but to say that EVERYONE is malingering is just plain rude. Things like that are what make me scared to open up to people, including mental health professionals. I'm terrified beyond belief that I won't be taken seriously, and seen as crazy.
Anyone else have thoughts on this? Because frankly I think she's full of sh!t

So there's hot milfs in my area, but no one who specializes in DID?

me: (is considering opening up about our DID to a friend) *starts by bringing up mental illnesses*
friend: oh yeah! I have depression, bipolar, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, borderline, OCD, schizophrenia, 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿..."
This is an actual thing that happened
