Final day of the challenge. Yes, I am showing off 😂 I am showing off because doing 1 min of handstand is NOT easy! I’ll say this again - respect to all #handbalancer and #handstander . It takes a lot of work to get to this point! If you’re interested in the challenge yourself, try to follow it along #linkinbio __________________ #handstand #stanienarękach #handstandpractice #upsidedown #handstanddrills #goals #handstandchallenge #handstandexperiment #handstandnation #handstandeveryday #bananeira #handstanding #workout #training #challenge #experiment #followalong #capoeira #movement #capoeira #workoutchallenge #bodybalance #balancing #capoeirachallenge (at Edinburgh, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/CRJL8s5Iz53/?utm_medium=tumblr
Sometimes I think that I’m doing a good job in stabilizing my joints and then I swap out one of my hip strengthening training days for an aerial private and a few days later I’m walking like a newborn giraffe again because my hip is starting to give. Every time I start to think that my hypermobility issues are in my head and slack on my stabilization work, I get this nice little reminder that training is as much about managing chronic pain as it is for having fun and becoming a better performer
I’m experiencing gender euphoria right now because I’m doing a clothing purge and discovering how many tops my shoulders have sized up out of. Circus really has done wonders on my body
