Rollo Flamme

OH MY GOD, Rollo is like Riddle 2.0, slightly more apathetic but just as upstanding and gentlemanly. Especially if they meet at the Glorious Marquerade event.

As soon as Rollo runs into Yuu and realizes she's a pregnant woman, his attitude changes from "pretentious and somewhat rude" to simply pretentious, but a gentleman. Rollo does things like offer his arm to Yuu when they're walking, moves chairs for her, and will definitely complain loudly about how irresponsible the NRC director is for sending a pregnant woman on such an exhausting trip.

I really like the AUs where Rollo goes to Ramshackle, so we'll be adding that to their interactions. Rollo is quite paranoid, to the point where he practically acts as a bodyguard for Yuu. He literally doesn't trust anyone to help her due to his own resentment of magic, and is on the verge of baby-proofing the entire dorm (heck, even the entire NRC). The favoritism is blatant and almost offensive, not only because Yuu doesn't have magic, but because she's in a very vulnerable position, so Rollo can't bring himself to be his normal, sarcastic, and somewhat mean self with her. He just can't.

He's definitely the most fearful the further along the pregnancy progresses. He offers to take Yuu to doctor visits, helps her cook, and when the baby is born, he's quite tense. He's quite afraid of hurting Sheila (the same way he hurt his brother), but with Yuu's guidance, he dares to hold her while she takes a nap. And he immediately refuses to let anyone else hold her. In short, he's like an older brother with an old man attitude.

Ernesto Foulmouth (and Gino)

Ernesto and Gino are a special case. I don't think they treated Yuu any differently during the Playfull Land event, except for certain moments like during fights, probably something along the lines of "CAN'T YOU SEE SHE'S PREGNANT?! BE MORE CAREFUL! WE'RE MORALLY QUESTIONABLE, NOT MONSTERS!"

Yeah, it was basically a 2-for-1 situation. However, when it comes to interactions outside of the event (like at the Au Heartshackle), Ernesto and Gino are actually quite kind to a pregnant Yuu, though it does cause the awkward situation of Gino asking how Yuu got pregnant (ah, the beauty of life).

Considering that Ernesto is canonically good at sewing, I like imagining him and Yuu sewing some baby clothes or making some toys for Sheila. Gino practically follows Yuu around like a cat (wink) and gets between her and whoever's talking to her (remember, this kid IS SUPER STRONG, it's his way of taking care of Yuu). He also helps Yuu with shopping and other heavy lifting. Ernesto is more of an arm-to-arm type when she's especially tired.

They definitely panic when labor happens, like, running around, taking Yuu to the infirmary (or a hospital), arguing with Rollo over what to do, etc. Ernesto is like Sheila's fun uncle who also teaches her some questionable things, but is surprisingly efficient at taking care of her (he has good reflexes for when Sheila starts walking and trips over her own feet).

Gino is like Sheila's partner in crime when she grows up; they team up to get their way, whether it's reaching for cookie jars, angering teachers, or just fooling adults to get more attention. Conclusion: Chaotic but with good intentions most of the time.

Skully Graves

AYYYY SKULLY WOULD BE SO GENTLE TO YUU ONCE THEY MET. This will probably even change some aspects of the NBC event, either because Yuu is a young adult and can set more boundaries with Skully/convince him to back off, or simply because Skully wouldn't be capable of potentially harming a pregnant lady.

Skully is the most enthusiastic about the baby, maybe too enthusiastic. Let's say Yuu barely knows the baby's gender and due date, but Skully is already preparing potential gifts for the future baby and an adorably scary room. Skully doesn't seem to realize at first that his gifts aren't exactly suitable for newborn babies, especially ones who, you know, ARE ALIVE.

Fiercely protective of Yuu, even more so than Rollo, if anyone tries to do something like touch Yuu's bump without permission or get too close, they'll probably get a typical Halloween scare. Is who carries Yuu to the infirmary in a panic, he doesn't want her to die!

HE TOTALLY ADORES THE BABY. When it's his turn to hold her, it's almost impossible to get him to give her back...literally, he went up to Ramshackle's roof and hissed every time anyone other than Yuu came near. He'll definitely pass on his love of Halloween to Sheila, but in a mostly harmless way. Almost. Conclusion: a menace, but a great babysitter.

Bonus: Eliza

Do you think Yuu being pregnant would change how Eliza would treat her? It's a bit of a yes or no. On one hand, she wouldn't try to hurt her, but on the other hand, it's not her priority. Although she'll definitely see how others treat a pregnant Yuu as a green or red flag. ARE THEY NOT GOING TO OFFER THE PREGNANT WOMAN A SEAT? OR OFFER THEIR ARM TO ENSURE SHE DOESN'T FALL? SHAME! (She proceeds to give Yuu an entire table to herself as an apology for her "horrible suitors.")

On the other hand, if Sheila had already been born by then, it's a complete 180. Eliza would be so moved and delighted with the baby, whether asking questions about how old she is, what her name is, gossiping a little with Yuu about the baby's father, etc. (the perfect distraction to rescue Idia). Conclusion: If you don't have a sweet baby in your arms, get lost, but not before enjoying the wedding and relaxing a little, darling.

The clock ticked, drawing closer to lunch time. Most students waited all day for this, a time where you can enjoy lunch with your friends. A nice little break from the lectures. But not you, Crowley had been kind enough to let you and Grim enroll at the school, but since you technically counted as one student you both revive one lunch to share.

Now the problems didn't stop there, for Grim ate like a man on the verge of starving, barely leaving anything for you.

So here you were listening to the professor rant on as you dreaded the ringing bell. Ace had noticed your distain. Originally planning on coping your notes he instead asked you what got you so down.

" I don't have anything for lunch, and I can't head back to Ramshackle to pick something up, and even if I could that would mean missing Dinner."

"Why not just ask Jack or Deuce? I'm sure they'd share." Ace pondered, flipping his pencil between his fingers.

"Not even offering your lunch? how kind of you to offer theirs." Ace poked you with his pencil's eraser. "Besides, I don't want them to miss out on lunch, they need their strength to do magic."

Mr. Crewel cleared his throat, "Well, since you pups seem to like taking, why don't you tell me the answer?" he shot you two a sharp glare.

You and Ace sunk into your seats, trying to avoid the glances of your peers.

You lunch time struggles would have to be solved later, for now you had an angry teacher to answer.

Obviously Grandma Bucchi would give them a scolding (after all, they're not exactly innocent), but since Ruggie wasn't involved she wouldn't get so worked up… Maybe~

But in the end it would only end one way: Adoption.
