A/N: I took in a stray kitten this past Friday! So I plan to do all the dorms taking in kittens. She's so cute guys but a handful indeed hehe ^..^

It was the most regal white cat.
Her fur so fluffy you could use her as a pillow, and yet…
How could Riddle possibly leave such a refined creature to fend for itself?
Riddle always came home at the same time every day, so when he was not one but 2 hours late you were about to send the search party
Until he came home with a cat and all the basic cat needs
He had also already scheduled a vet and grooming appointment while shopping
Now He expected to train this cat to be a well behaved and rule following young lady
…but sadly cats seem to never listen so he was going to be in for a ride with this one
And that is how Queenie joined your family.
It was 3 in the morning, the sun had not even risen and the birds were still sound asleep. Riddle had to be up soon to get ready for work. But he was awoken early by a paw directly in his mouth. Queenie, it would seem, was hungry. The red head had her on a strict feeding schedule and yet every night since he had brought her home he was woken the same way. Riddle let out and sigh and picked the feline up with a calm seen only by close friends and family. “Must you be so frenzied when hungry? It's getting annoying, my queen.” He tsk and tut-ed. Chiding the young kitten as he walked to the kitchen. He wanted to keep his feeding schedule, he really did. But when he was having a hard time sleeping it was affecting his work. And his work might as well be his child. Well I suppose Queenie is the true closest thing you both had to a child, and let it be foreshadowing that Riddle would never be able to say no to his children. After all, he was breaking his own rule and giving Queenie an early breakfast.
“Now you’ve been fed, happy now?” Riddle turned to go back to bed only to hear a grating voice call out to him. “ MRAH?! YOU’RE GOING TO FEED PRINCESS HERE AND NOT ME?!”
Riddle sighed and turned back to the cupboard in order to reach for some tuna. Seven have mercy and allow him to get some sleep tonight…
The warmth of the bakery had drawn the poor thing in.
Trey was just waking up to start preparing the pastries when he heard a mew from his pan cabinet
Upon searching, he found an adorable kitten. Barely a month old
Where was it’s mom? And siblings? Well it needs something to eat
The baby seemed to be skin and bones
Trey could not let that be
So he fetched some of Grim’s tuna from his stash….he’d just buy some more to replace it later once the kitten is fed
It took everything for him to not just go and wake you up to see the cutie
But it was 2 am and he doubted a kitten would fix the sour mood you’d be in should you not get enough sleep
So rather Trey took a spare blanket and build a little bed for the kitten to keep warm as he started his day
He’d show you the new member of your little family once you woke up
And while he was going to let you have final say with the name…he did think scone would be a fitting name for the bakery’s second cat
Flour went everywhere as scone (place holder name) jumped into the bowl Trey had left unattended for less than a second. And somehow the little thing managed to make a mess. Trey was at a loss, he had closed the door when he left the cat in the laundry room, making sure he was tucked in and everything. So how come scone was now prancing around the kitchen and causing a problem. “Hey now! Get down from there. No!” The kitten was now climbing up the shelves and knocking over jars and bags. Loud shattering and scattering glass could be heard all the way from the bedroom, where you, his sleeping partner was resting.
“Pspspsps, here kitty.” Trey scrambled to grab the cat as he ran around the shop. Once being worried about not having the baked goods ready in time he now was panicking over the glass littering the floor.
“Ughh, what’s going on down here?” “Are you ok Trey?!” Trey and the kitten both froze at the sound of you and Grim coming down the stairs. He used this as the perfect chance to catch the distracted cat. You reached the bottom of the steps and looked with horror at the mess, jam was smeared on the tables, flour dusted the flours and counters. Glass was spread on the floor. And in the center of the chaos was your beloved baker….and a kitten.
He had been seeing pics of cute cats all over magicam!
And maybe that was influencing his decision making
But really, who could see an adorable little fur ball and turn them away?
Picking up the kitten he dashed to the nearest pet store to pick out the cutest collar and trendiest cat toys!
But Cater was severally underestimating how hard it was to care for a cat
After all you make looking after Grim look so easy
Can you blame a card for wanting a little buddy to take cute pics of?
Cater had never appreciated all the work you do taking care of Grim more, I mean…feeding and cleaning. Training and don’t even get him started on the litter box. Really had he bitten off more than he could chew? Maybe. But ever helpful you are here to show him the ropes, because even if it isn’t easy Cay-cay ain’t a quitter! And besides the cat was basically our child now, and what kinda father would abandon their kid after a bit of a rough patch?
“Okie, so I mix the wet and the dry foods, got it!” Cater shut the pantry door with a bump of his hip. Phone propped up by his shoulder and can of cat food in hand. The kitten, that of which Cater was still trying to pick the perfect name for, was playing with Cater’s diamond plush…not something he wanted considering the amount of money he had spent on toys, but whatever his baby wanted.
He opened the can and scooped the contents into the cat’s bowl, face scrunching up at the less than appealing smell. Sprinkling in some kibble he mixed it together and placed it on the floor. The Kitten immediately ran to inspect the bowl as Cater cooed to you over the phone. “She’s the cutest!~ oh! Let me take a picture #Baby’s first tuna bowl!”
Saw a orange cat doing some dumbass behavior and just had to bring him home
And the walk home was eventful
With Ace accidentally letting go of the stray and having to chase him down
But of course you can only expect chaos from orange cats
So now Ace was in deep shit
How was he meant to explain the complete mess Ace jr had caused to you
Your vase holding the flowers he had gotten you last week was shattered on the floor. The throw pillows on the couch had fluff bursting out the seams from where Ace jr’s claws had scratched them up. The curtain rod was pulled down with a loud clatter and the sun flooded the room.
Ace had exactly 7 minutes before you’d be home.
And when you saw the hell that had broken loose? You might actually kill him. The house looks like he let loose some wind magic and decided the place needed redecoration. “GET BACK HERE!” Ace lunged at the feline, promptly running into a table and falling to the floor. The table falling over and chipping upon impact with the floor. Sevens…that was your favorite table.
Ace stopped his pursuit of the kitten for a moment and used his brain. ‘If I keep at it then the prefect won’t have a home to come back to…’ Ace needed to rethink his approach. What always worked with Grim? Hmmm…. Food! That was a guaranteed way to get Grim to chill out, a can of tuna or two and you had a happy flame cat on your hands. All Ace had to do was find some cat treats and lure the rascal to him. And then he can start straightening up before you see the mess he’s caused. “Psps, looky here cat. I gotta a bunch of treats for you” Ace sprinkled the food on the floor and hid around the corner of the couch.
Ace Jr sniffed the air. His eyes quickly found the trap laid for him. And like Ace the first had expected he bound for the pile, not a moment sooner than the first bite Ace snatched up the kitten and held him above his head with a shout of “YES!”
Oops…seems he didn’t have time to clean.
Mama Spade used to feed the strays in town
So when you guys got your own place Deuce would always set out a bowl for any cats (and Dogs) that happened to need a bite
You got a few visitors every now and again
But one in particular stood out to Deuce
A tabby, with striking gold eyes
Always cuddling up to you when you refill the bowls
Even sleeping on Deuce’s lap while he reads outside
Neither of you were planning on keeping her
Until Deuce made the grave mistake of naming her
But she really is a Dylla
After that day you both started getting closer with the cat
Getting worried when she didn’t show up for days
And even buying her a pretty blue collar
Oh who were you guys kidding, she’s your cat now
“Have you seen Dylla today? I bought a tag for her collar, it has our address in case she gets hurt or lost.” Deuce held up the spade shaped tag. A big smile on his face. You smiled back before nodding your head towards the back door. “She’s napping on your chair right now.”
Deuce jogged in the direction of the back door before stopping. He turned to you, still with a smile but now a lot more shy, “Say, what do you think about…taking in Dylla? I know we already have Grim but I was just thinking…” You looked at him quizzically.
“I thought we already took her in? I mean we got her a collar..” your boyfriend blinked twice then his smile grew into a massive grin. “Great!” He turned back to give your new (?) cat her tag.
