-I'd imagine when yanderes find out Darling has no winter break plans at all, they all start scheming, and trying to mutually interfere in each others' plans until they reach an agreement to leave Darling alone this time (Which, to be honest is mostly spearheaded by Riddle [his mom is awful and he doesn't want to ruin his chances by letting her meet his Darling who he *knows* hates his mom's philosophy] and Leona [he is NOT brinigng Darling anywhere near the rest of the royal family]. Jokes on them, Darling gets kidnapped anyway!
-Meanwhile in Octavinelle: A very, very tense stand-off as octatrio tries to feel each other out to see if any of them kidnapped Darling and are keeping them to themselves. (prompted by Darling not being around - fault of Scarabia, but they don't know that). Floyd is in an awful mood and almost got into a fight with Jade, he keeps wandering off all around campus to look for Darling. Jade is also searching, but he occasionally tails Floyd (just in case), and probes at Azul (may break into other octavinelle rooms to check if Darling is anywhere in the dorm). Azul meanwhile mostly suspects Jade, and made sure to throughly search the mountain lovers' club - he briefly considers that Jade might've hidden Darling in the forest near campus and that's where he's heading when he 'searches' for them, but dismisses it on account of winter temperatures (Jade wouldn't be stupid enough to let Darling freeze).
-I'd imagine the night Darling accidentally breaks into Octavinelle while escaping Scarabia, the 3 immediately decide to all have a sleepover together (in Azul's bed - can't have Darling seeing the... 'habitat' the twins made. not yet) and possibly to drug Darling out of their mind (The poor thing was so anxious and frightened! They needed some 'medicine' to help them).
-Oops! Darling was already on a bit of drugs (courtesy of Scarabia) and octavinelle's drugs might not have mixed with those all too well. Cue a lot of panicked antidote making, throwing blame and shade at each other, and desperately taking care of 'sick' Darling (they're ok in the morning. physically at least).
-I'd imagine Jamil would've taken Darling's phone away pretty early on (tho ig after they text Adeuce), so the whole break poor Cater is spamming them with memes and stuff and getting increasingly more depressed at how he's being ignored (and after they didn't rely on him for book 3 too...)
-Trey and Riddle might lowkey start colluding on where they'll relocate Darling and take care of them once the time is right (Riddle is Trey's platonic Darling, so he'd probably be fine sharing a home with him, while for Riddle, Trey is a good option cause he's his closest friend + it's not like he can bring Darling to *his* house or anywhere his mother might visit). Options consist of Clover family home (at least until they gather funds for something else), a small flat near the bakery or a quiet if a bit rundown house (that may or may not necessitate murdering its current inhabitant). When Chenya swings by, he suggests just murdering Mrs. Rosehearts. Riddle did not take that well.
-Halfway through his break, Crowley accidentally lets it slip in his phonecall with Crewel and Trein that he left Darling at school, in the still very dilapidated and cold Ramshackle, with no friends to help (cause winter break and they don't know octavinelle fell for them yet) and limited food.
-Both profs are pissed. Both because they 100% would've taken Darling with them if they weren't under the impression Crowley (or one of the romantic candidates) would, and because of the circumstances they imagine Darling in (cold... lonely and possibly starving). They both cut their breaks short to go dote on Darling (not knowing they'll come back to an aftermath of an Overblot).
-I'd like to think the next few Darling lessons would be on not leaving Darlings' behind, not letting them be lonely, and on remembering to cater to Darlings' needs (with 'vague' allusions to Crowley).

Plot Twist is that Darling's "sickness" is just that their so high off their ass that their tripping balls٫ hearing colors٫ and tasting shapes.
During Darling Care classes٫ Crowley is most definitely constantly eluded to as the bad example. Every time the bird does something٫ a new lesson is added to the curriculum.

I was curious since my yuus are kind of unatractive or at least they think so by comparing themselves to their worlds standarts and what they think would be Twisted Wonderland standarts.

They would have absolutely no idea what you meant. After having it explained to them٫ they'd pretend to respect your decision and treat you similarly to how they've always done. If you pay attention٫ however٫ you'll notice that they're slowly pushing further and further to see how far they can go without you saying anything. If you call them out٫ their little game starts over.

If you think competition between the two academies were bad already٫ be prepared to see it a thousand times worse. It's also 100% being televized. You also might think that was Crowley's idea. It was not; it was Ambrose's drag Crowley through the mud about the horrible conditions he's keeping you in. Yes٫ the staff is involved.

I remember in book 2 Kalim basically fell in love at first sight and Jamil was impressed by us, but I also think that at this point in the story the reader is well known enough for people to be weary of them, Jamil included (or idk).
Up to this point٫ Jamil is more interested in how useful you can be to him than you personally. Currently٫ you're a very useful pawn to him٫ and if utilized correctly٫ can deeply harm Kalim mentally and emotionally.
after darling made the comment to azul about how 'chubby babies are the cutest', all the yans text their parent/s and asked for their baby pictures so they could show darling. tell them they were cute too!
If it were me٫ a collection would be started. Doesn't matter if it's for blackmail or pure love of the game. Dunno if any can beat baby lizard (Malleus)٫ tho. I know damn well the custody wars for a child!reader would be IMMENSE. Everyone has a testimony to why they should be the one to take in little reader.
…That being said, I think Dylla and Crewel should be the ones sharing custody. Deuce gets a baby sibling + a father, reader gets two loving parents, and Dylla and Crewel now have two loving children. Everyone wins!

how can people tell that an unclaimed darling is a darling? do darlings wear something that indicated their darling nature (like jewelry or a tag), or is it just a guessing game? like if a yandere were to attack an unclaimed darling, how are they supposed to know they were a darling in the first place? Most yanderes do watch potential threats before٫ if they do choose to٫ attack. The ones dumb enough not to٫ though٫ can get into pretty hefty trouble. Especially if the darling is already claimed. If they weren't٫ maybe some legal trouble. However٫ usually claimed darlings have majority of things like that decided for by their yanderes٫ and a majority of yans would not take their beloved getting hurt all to kindly.
That aside٫ yanderes usually leave things things on their darling as messages that their claimed. It usually varies by person and culture. Beastfolk and merfolk tend to leave deep bite marks٫ fae often use magic-heavy spells that leave heavy personal magic residue and basically intertwine their souls together (and their lifespans as different species of Fae vary in life expectancy)٫ and humans often vary but most popularly use special magestones on jewelry pieces that they power with their own magic. Fae darlings also tend to have special magic bell jewelry that are pitched to where only Fae can clearly hear to better locate them; these became a trend during the war out of fear of humans finding their poor darlings but also fear of not having a way to track their darlings if they were to attempt escape. If you listen closely٫ you can actually hear their cute little jingles that they produce when shook; it's actually where the rumor that some Fae make bell-like sounds come from.
