Until Monday May 4th you can pick up my novel and Volume 3 of the comic as pay what you want downloads on itch.io or ko-fi which, in my opinion, is currently the ideal way to get through the first two arcs of Kidd Commander. Flexibility is a good quality to have going into this particular series! The two Specials I've released so far are there too, if you don't have them yet.
Of course the main comic remains entirely free to read on its very own website, and I'm working on more novel adaptations that you can keep up with over on @sprawlworks or through my newsletter.

DC Comics Announces Free Comic Book Day 2026 Titles
Let's start out the new year looking forward to Free Comic Book Day! In 2026, Free Comic Book Day will be held on May 2.
DC Comics FCBD offerings include a sampler for DC's next publishing initiative "DC Next Level," also known as Act II of "DC All In." The free comic, titled DC Next Level FCBD 2026 Sampler, will give fans previews of three new series: Batwoman #1 from Greg Rucka and DaNi, Lobo #1 from Skottie Young and Jorge Corona, and Deathstroke: The Terminator #1 from Tony Fleecs and Carmine Di Giandomenico.
Aquamanatee #1 FCBD 2026 Special Edition is an early reader graphic novel by writer Ben Clanton and artist Cassandra Federman. The free comic will contain the first chapter of the graphic novel, where big-hearted Marlow the Manatee gets powers and a chance to team up with his idol Aquaman.
DC x Sonic the Hedgehog #1 FCBD 2026 Special Edition, from writer Ian Flynn and artist Adam Bryce Thomas, finds Darkseid breaching dimensions seeking ultimate power. His search brings him to the world of Sonic the Hedgehog. Luckily Sonic and friends will not have to face the forces of Apokolips alone as the Justice League is here to help save both worlds. The cover is by Pablo M. Collar.
The Nice House on the Lake #1 FCBD 2026 Special Edition is a Vertigo title from writer James Tynion IV and artist Álvaro Martínez Bueno. A group of folk is invited to the eccentric Walter's house in the woods overlooking a picturesque lake for a peaceful vacation. These acquaintances of Walter know about his little quirks, like odd nicknames and games, but maybe it is worth it for a nice chance to escape for awhile.
