The Final Problem Trailer

Paramount has released a preview of the movie that picks up years after where Avatar: The Last Airbender left off back in 2008.

According to the official synopsis: "this new story in the Avatar universe sees Aang learn of an ancient power that could save his culture from extinction. With the help of his friends, he embarks on a global quest to find it before it falls into the wrong hands and threatens to upend the peace they sacrificed everything to achieve."

Xbox Wire has published a message sent out to Team Xbox employees informing them about a "significant restructure." This restructure includes employee reductions of 3,200 throughout 2027's fiscal year, with 1,600 "role eliminations" today. According to the message, in some areas there are 14 layers of management. The goal is to reduce management down to 3-5 layers. Helen Chiang has also been promoted to Chief Operating Officer with an aim to bring the company "together under one operating model, making sure we make clear investment decisions, learn from our successes and failures, and hold ourselves accountable for results."

Compulsion Games and Double Fine Productions will transition back to independent studios "with their IP, catalog, and runway for their next games." Meanwhile, Ninja Theory and Undead Labs will join new ownership with funding to complete their games. Arkane Studios is consulting with its Works Council reviewing its options. The goal is to "help independent creators succeed by providing open development tools and audiences to realize their vision" instead of trying to own several studios.

Xbox will also make reductions across other studios. However, none of Xbox's "first party publicly announced games or projects are being cancelled as part of these reductions."  (Xbox Wire)

Dark Horse has announced that another of Gou Tanabe's H.P. Lovecraft adaptations is getting an English translation and release. H.P. Lovecraft's The Haunter of the Dark is written and drawn by Tanabe and translated by Zack Davisson.

"Robert Blake is dead—killed by lightning through an oddly unbroken window, the features of his half-burned face set in a cadaveric spasm. Surely his final look was not one of real fear…after all, he was a writer and artist of imagined horrors and weird fiction. H.P. Lovecraft's The Haunter of the Dark goes on sale on April 27, 2026.

Live-Action Moana "Music of Moana" Featurette

Dwayne Johnson, Catherine Laga'aia, and Lin-Manuel Miranda talk about returning to the music of Moana and bringing it to live-action.

In order to save her home, Moana will answer the Ocean's call, voyage beyond her reef, and enlist the aid of the demi-god Maui to restore the Heart of Te Fiti.

Disney's live-action Moana stars Catherine Laga'aia (Moana) and Dwayne Johnson (Maui), John Tui (Chief Tui), Frankie Adams (Sina), Rena Owen (Gramma Tala). Thomas Kail directs.

Once Rockstar did it with Grand Theft Auto VI, we were afraid this would happen, and we were right.

Sony announced this morning on the PlayStation Blog that physical media production for the PS5 and beyond will officially end in less than two years from now, citing "consumer preferences" and trends in the "broader entertainment industry."

They also announced that the digital storefronts for the PS3 and PS Vita will be shutting down next year.

A futuristic metropolis is engulfed in a mysterious mist that unleashes a deadly entity. A young woman's quest to find her father collides with that of an American GI trying to rescue his daughter from Hell.

Her Private Hell stars Sophie Thatcher, Charles Melton, Kristine Froseth, Havana Rose Liu, Diego Calva, Shioli Kutsuna, Aoi Yamada, Dougray Scott, and Hidetoshi Nishijima. The film is directed by Nicolas Winding Refn and is written by Refin and Esti Giordani.
