i'm happy that we can go on (takeout) coffee dates again.
Our university recently provided us with free Coursera accounts and I've been trying to stay productive by studying more about Excel ✍🏻 I recommend everyone who's currently in business majors to study Excel as well when you have the time 🕑

Horror Media Survey
Hi!
I’m a Pakistani university student and as part of an online journalism project I’m working on for a course, my team is conducting a horror media survey that focuses on slashers specifically as well.
So, I would really appreciate it if my fellow studyblrs could fill out the form given below, and share it with your followers and anyone else you think might be interested in the horror genre!

8 October 2019 | Turkish coffee and finishing up Humphrey Carpenter’s biography on Tolkien. The ocean waves of my life have calmed somewhat in the past few days and I attribute it almost entirely to speaking more candidly with my husband about the theological issues I’ve been wrestling with on my own for quite some time. Peace, peace, and there just may be peace.

[AUG] i miss you, my dear sun
AUGUST - it may not seem like it in the photos above, but, my, my, august, you were a hazy reel of gloomy, dreary, rainy days - there was not a day that went by that i didnt wish for the sun (there were a couple of sunny days, but the clouds always won over the sun more often than not). most days were spent painting: my new set of gouache paint arrived just before i ripped the month of july off our calendar. it has been a joy to paint with it!
FIGURE I. uni is around the corner and i can’t help but daydream about it! above is an organization system i have devised for college (based on numerous youtube videos and a couple of reddit posts, as well as my personal experience during my last two years of high school). after seeing four numbers had lined up in the sub-total bar, it has been subjected to changes while online shopping for school supplies - I had to make this organization and note-taking system as practical and cost-effective as possible.
FIGURE II. after spending my days cooped up in my bed switching between my phone applications as the clouds washed the sky in gray for days on end and the rain kept the ground moist, i finally mustered the will to try and spend my days more productively. with a couple of journal entries (i won’t show you, no haha) where i poured out my musings that were as melancholic as the weather, bit by bit, i regained this sort of rigor to try and live a healthy lifestyle (which encompasses both mental and physical health). i used my newfound motivation to get back on advance studying chemistry that i started in july when my days were nice and my head a lot less crowded with negative thoughts.
FIGURE III. i felt ambitious and pre-planned the last week of august (it didn’t work out for me at all). in my bouts of productivity, i studied chemistry. at this point, only two weeks left before uni starts! it’s a shame that my first year of uni is online (but i wouldn’t have it any other way with the pandemic going on). oh well!
