tubbo original wanted to avoid violence, but eventually agrees with quackity to hunt down techno and bring him back to L'manburg to hold a public execution (they call it a trial, but then reveal it never was a trial in the first place) as payment for said withers and attack
but this also brings techno out of retirement and causes doomsdays in retaliation
do you think the searching through phil's house for the compass, threatening techno's horse, and disguising the execution as a trial, and others things related to the 'hog hunt' was okay, and that the execution was justified in the end?

I think itâs very telling that when Dream was part of accidentally killing Punzâs bee, he immediately left an apology and 29 diamonds. [2:31:14]
But when Tommy accidentally killed Tubboâs bee, he burned down his house. [post] [2:31:14]

Mind you, a house that Dream helped rebuild and left a gift with [2:07:49] [post]
Though of course itâs only fair to mention that Tommy (off screen) did later leave an apology and 27 diamonds [1:26], however it should also be noted that Tubbo originally asked for 20 diamonds as reparations for Tommy stealing from him and killing his bee, to which Tommy then burned down his house instead.
So, I think the point still stands. I mean talk about a difference in reactions⌠And to me, itâs the stark contrast in the little things like this in the beginning that tell me a lot about a character and their default behavior and motivations. Like clearly one of these is a far more wholesome reaction than the other, so it shouldnât be a surprise that Iâd root for Dream over Tommy, and yet itâs commonly seen as unreasonable, even though this is the comparison. Like remind me again how, even before the first nation rose, Dream was labeled the villain and Tommy the heroâŚ

I just canât get over how wholesome Punz is. Like after they accidentally killed his bee, he finds out they are stuck in the nether and offers to help.
Then he straight up dives into the lava to recover the pickaxe Dream accidentally dropped. [2:51:51]
He also rescues Dream with fire res after a failed clutch

And after Sapnap and George fight and his helmet breaks, Punz gives George a netherite ingot to make a new one. :) [3:04:55]
