I don’t remember this topic of the death book in the lore very well, but the way it works is it permanently kills the target—like, it entirely eradicate the target from existence in limbo too right? Which is why Sapnap talks about killing Dream’s ghost too so they’ll all be together in Limbo?? Also GOD YES I was just thinking somebody needs to write an AU for the speculative scenario where Sapnap does end up killing Dream and dteam end up in limbo together, and then Punz left with the mess of this, etc. gods what an idea!! I wonder how much Sapnap knows about limbo and such too—perhaps Tommy would have told him all about it? Ohhhh my god loosing my mind!!
OK I READ THE WIKI and it turns out that no the book doesnt immediatly permanently kill someone, it just takes a life off the owner and the target, it's IF they're in their last life that they would die permanently without a ghost and not go to limbo. so in the scenario that csapnap uses the book on cdream, cdream would disappear since he has been in his last life since the disc finale and csapnap would have 2 lives left. that would be scenario A if he could use the book on cdream and would bring its own cdteam angst since cgeorge wouldnt even be able to mourn cdream because of how sudden it would be. ALSO the part of "god will tell them before they die who its courtesy of" IMAGINE cdream finding out csapnap condemned him to die. please let's talk about this HELLOOO
scenario B would be what happened in the actual stream, from what i read in the wiki, csapnap makes a deal with XD for cdream's location, and if he kills him, he would also die permanently. how would it happen, would csapnap be impulsive and hunt down cdream now that he knows where he is? would he spend days planning with possibly others? would he tell cgeorge????? if he doesnt, imagine cgeorge waking up one day and not hearing or seeing csapnap anywhere, only to find out that both him and cdream died fighting each other weeks ago and no one has seen their ghosts. the only ones that kept cgeorge afloat. oh my god.
but now about what you say OMG YESSSSSSS or even if it's art i would love to support,,,, in the case cdteam all die and cease to exist cpunz would have to pick up the pieces and maybe share with others (the other cdream "allies"?) to make a plan to stop the server from a catastrophe now that some of the admins are dead, i think cbad since he has op he's also an admin but since he's in the eggpire how would his new power and control over the server help the egg grow, and how would it affect XD since he's technically a part of cdream? also i guess csapnap does know about limbo from teaming up with ctommy after the jailbreak and maybe from hearing from others about ghostbur and cwil :O
i think it's so insane that even after the fall out, csapnap still cares about cdream enough to make a whole suicide plan to die with him and cgeorge at the same time and stop existing together. who's up thinking about cpunz making and putting three gravestones for them side by side, there aren't bodies to bury but at least the server can remember them as friends who stuck together until the end
