I just can’t get over how wholesome Punz is. Like after they accidentally killed his bee, he finds out they are stuck in the nether and offers to help.
Then he straight up dives into the lava to recover the pickaxe Dream accidentally dropped. [2:51:51]
He also rescues Dream with fire res after a failed clutch

honestly, the biggest headcanon i have for him during that era is kinda just expanded canon.
it's clear that time in his life was very rough for him. he mentions later that it was a very bad time and hints at it being traumatizing.
i think he was probably struggling a lot more than he let on and dealt with that by fully throwing himself into trying to fix things. the railings in the ravine, the potato farm. all things that he could occupy himself with while avoiding the obvious spiraling of his alliance.
like, i genuinely believe that his mental health was at the bottom of the barrel because when he leaves, he pretty much immediately tries to isolate himself, thinking that's the only way to feel safe.
but my biggest 'this has no actual basis in canon' headcanon for pogtopia techno is that he absolutely had some flowers in pots somewhere he could take care of. he got them before he was gathering them for the soups which is actually where he got the idea to make the suspicious stews for people!
Technoblade: "People are always like 'why does everyone on the server bully TommyInnit?' and then you like look at their first interaction and Tommy's, like, mugging them."
Technoblade: "Every TommyInnit arc is 'oh no not the consequences of my own actions, no'. Who would've thought recklessly provoking the entire server would lead to consequences? Who could've seen this coming?"
Technoblade: "I thought burning down your house would be funny, you can't- it's just a prank. You can't be mad."
Ranboo: "In my defense your honor, it was funny."
Technoblade: "It was HILARIOUS."
Tommy: "Me burning down George's house really led to quite a lot, didn't. Now that I think about it."
Technoblade: "Yeah that really didn't pan out for you."
Tommy: "Yeah, that actually- the reason there's a huge crater over there is just cuz one day I was sat having my pre-stream poo and went 'WHAT do we do that's funny and cool today?'

(Clip 1 Begins. It's Tubbo's POV of Jschlatt's Funeral. Tubbo sits in the front pew as Badboyhalo prepares at the altar. Tommy runs in circles around the pews. Tubbo rejoins the game with his Presidential skin with the jacket disabled.)
TUBBO (laughing): Did you-Did you really just say "Bow House"?
TOMMY: Jesus...BOW HOUSE, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE-oh you look classy Tubbo.
TUBBO: Thank you.
(Clip 1 ends.)
(Clip 2 begins. The clip is from the same stream, still at the funeral. Everyone is in similar positions aside from Tommy, who has seated himself beside Tubbo.)
BAD: Is everybody here? Would everybody please put on formal attire? Tubbo, that's a very nice suit, I like it.
TUBBO: Thank you! Wilbur made it for me!
BAD: It's very nice.
SAM: You didn't say anything about my suit!
BAD: Your's is very good to, Awesamdude. Wait, Awesam, you're just wearing armor-
(Tommy turns to look at Tubbo. The text "Proceeds to stare at Tubbo" appears in yellow at the bottom of the screen in asterisks. Tommy looks at Tubbo uninterrupted for the rest of the clip while Tubbo watches Quackity and Badboyhalo get into an altercation on the altar. At one point Tommy removes his helmet. Tubbo eventually notices his staring and turns to look at him.)
TUBBO (quietly, laughing): Why are you looking at me like that, Tommy?
TOMMY: I'm not.
TUBBO: Okay. (Turning his attention back to the altar) Oh my God, start the Goddamn funeral!
BAD: Okay, alright, everybody, uh-
(Clip 2 ends.)
(Clip 3 begins. It's a clip from Tommy's perspective as he walks off of the Prime Path and into the hills surrounding New L'Manberg. Tubbo and Ghostbur are walking ahead of him. Tubbo is in his Presidential skin and Tommy is wearing his Suit skin.)
TOMMY: Wait can you guys slow down? I'm- Hey Tubbo let's take off our fancy dresses now.
(White text saying "Why does he call them that" briefly appears on the bottom of the screen as Tommy removes his suit.)
TUBBO: Uh- Mine's on twenty-four seven, glued.
TOMMY: Oh. That's...
GHOSTBUR: No, you can take it off, it's just a white shirt under.
TUBBO: Oh, really?
(Tubbo begins taking off his suit jacket while Tommy turns to face him.)
TOMMY: Hey Tubbo that's, you know what that is-(Gasps) OH my God! You look..classy. The tie's still there, though.
TUBBO (overlapping): Thank you! I feel classy. I quite like the tie.
(Clip 3 ends.)
(Clip 4 begins. The clip is from Tubbo's perspective. Tommy is leading him from the Prime Path towards the bench.)
TOMMY: Um...Do you wanna sit down on the...
TUBBO: I would quite like to sit down on the bench.
Niki: I don't know who to trust anymore. Wilbur and Tommy and Techno are gone, and I understand that they can't take me in right now. That is fine. I will stay strong for them.
But I trusted Fundy so much. I trusted Fundy so much. Fundy and I—he was my running mate! I was his running mate! I would have been his vice president, if we would've been picked. I thought he would bring peace to this nation and make everyone happy. I thought we had the same intentions, but apparently we don't!
(Quietly) Apparently we don't.
(Tearfully) He burned my flag. He burned my flag, just to build it up in a disgusting color, for Schlatt, and for power. All of that for power? He betrayed his own son* for power?
And then there's Schlatt, and Quackity. Quackity—he saved me from jail. He helped me escape. But then he helped tearing down the walls of L'manberg. Our walls. The walls that we built!
And Tubbo. I don't know if I can trust Tubbo. I thought I could trust him. I thought he wants to be a spy on the inside. But he's wearing his suit! He's wearing Schlatt's suit! His suit!
I want to help him. I want to help him with the archives. Because even if I'm not their side, we need archives. We need to show the people in the future what is going on here! (Crying) But I don't know who to trust anymore.
TTS: You should help Tommy or someone burn the flag.
Niki: I can't go back right now. I can't go back to L'manberg right now. I don't know how it's looking down there, and I don't want to! I am not strong enough! I've seen—I have seen our entire nation burned to the ground. I've seen our walls get destroyed, and our names get changed! Our names! They took names, our identities! (Quietly) They took our identities.

It's INSANE to me that this isn't one of the most famous monologues from the DSMP. The way she gets so deeply into character, reacting to the TTS messages as if they're her own conflicting thoughts! The way she looks desperately and longingly at what used to be her country! She's alone, after the destruction of L'manberg. Isn't she crying out with the feelings of every one of us? And in her third language!
