For holiday parties, these lard-free chocolate chip cookies made in an air fryer are a great choice. They're soft on the inside and a little crispy on the outside. Every bite has gooey chocolate chips in it.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/2 cup chocolate chips. 1/2 tsp baking soda. 1/4 tsp salt. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. 1 egg.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the mixture, and beat until well combined. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a cookie dough forms. Fold in the chocolate chips into the dough. Preheat your air fryer to 350F 180C for 5 minutes. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of cookie dough onto a parchment paper-lined air fryer basket or tray. Place the cookies in the air fryer basket, leaving some space between them to allow for expansion. Air fry the cookies at 350F 180C for 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown and slightly crispy on the outside. Remove the cookies from the air fryer and let them cool on a wire rack. Enjoy your festive airfryer chocolate chip cookies!
