Indulge in the perfect blend of peanut butter and chocolate with these delightful cookies. The nutty richness of peanut butter combined with the sweetness of chocolate chips creates a treat that's hard to resist.
Ingredients: 1 cup peanut butter. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1 egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, mix together the peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the peanut butter mixture, and mix until smooth. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture, and mix to incorporate. Fold in the chocolate chips, distributing them evenly in the dough. Scoop spoonfuls of dough and roll them into balls. Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between them. Using a fork, gently press down on each dough ball to create a crisscross pattern. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are golden around the edges. Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
