This bright beet pesto pizza is a tasty and colorful take on regular pizza. The earthy sweetness of the beet pesto goes well with the sour goat cheese and hearty kale. The crunchy pine nuts finish the dish off. It's a deliciously unique pizza that people will love!
Ingredients: 1 pre-made pizza dough. 1 cup beet pesto. 1 cup kale, chopped. 4 ounces goat cheese, crumbled. 1/4 cup pine nuts. 1 tablespoon olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Turn on your oven and heat it up to 425F 220C. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to the thickness you want. Place the dough that has been rolled out on a pizza stone or baking sheet. Use a knife to spread the beet pesto out evenly on the pizza dough. Spread the chopped kale out evenly on top of the pesto. Put the goat cheese crumbles on top of the kale. Toast the pine nuts over medium-low heat in a small pan for about two to three minutes, until they turn a light golden color. Put the toasted pine nuts on top of the pizza. Spread olive oil on the pizza and add salt and pepper to taste. For 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the toppings are bubbly and a little browned, bake in an oven that has already been heated. Take it out of the oven and let it cool down for a few minutes before cutting it. Enjoy while hot!
