i’m imagining him slipping easily into dean’s head because dean had said yes to alt michael already, unknowingly

then dean suddenly, after days of a comatose guy routine, comes to, muttering no’s n please don’t’s and replying to dad that ‘it’s in my head’ before michael shushes and reassures him that he’s just there to help. michael trying to fix up the damage because it’s not easily healable, trying to sand down the rib sigils that kept dean hidden from him without too much damage & adding a sigil to the inside of the back of dean’s skull so he never can lose the sights of him again <3

angels could wipe the months that dean was gone from the hunters’ memories, but that’ll leave a lot of holes for the humans to realize that something’s wrong. so they leave the kidnapping in there, but michael wipes dean’s memory anyway to spare him the damage and trauma from what wasn’t meant to happen

dean will still have remnants & feel the itch at the back of his skull, like he’s tethered to something, somewhere, that he can’t pinpoint

i just think about michael possessing his true vessel with care and love and ownership and checking every nook n cranny in that head to fix the archangel vessel trauma, but also to know his true vessel and what makes him tick a bit better

that being said, fem!dean and michael is interesting to me bc iirc angels are genderless right? but some of them also seem to have set pronouns so on the one hand i don't think michael would feel any definitive way abt his true vessel being female but also the narrative implications of said true vessel being female to michael's 'male' is like *grimaces* yeah, the sexist remarks from other characters--namely the angels and demons--would reach new heights

but then that's tasty too in a beautifully toxic, angsty way bc you get fem!dean feeling even more objectified (double the internal struggle of being reduced to a body rather than an actual person with her own thoughts, feelings, desires, and feats)
