Hey so I'm currently working in a the naturals fanfic for dean/Micheal( not a ship I can really find in ao3 sadly😭) I haven't decided on a name yet but it should be out in the next few days!! I‘m actually so pissed at the FBI and Briggs for allowing Michael to go back to Thatcher for Christmas in All In.
They knew exactly what was going to happen to him in that house and they still let him go. This is genuinely so fucked up. And none of the agents even bothered to check up on him afterwards. They just left Judd to „repair“ the damage.
I also didn’t like how Dean and Sloane were completely unbothered by the fact he went back. Like when they told Cassie she was immediately concerned cause she knew damn well what Michael had probably gone through. And the others just seemed so none caring about it?
Maybe I need to reread but I remember that really making me feel sick for Michael. And I was actually mad at Dean when Michael came back and he whispered to Cassie „Show is on“ or some bs. Like no that was not a „show“ Michael was hurting after getting abused again. White boy what the hell. Even Cassie was confused why he said it like that.
Lia and Cassie were the only ones who cared enough to look deeper. Especially Lia she did not let him spiral alone.
This is no hate against Dean and Sloane they are my children. Just something that bothered me a tad bit.
It is however FULL HATE on the grown ass FBI agents that failed to protect Michael. Briggs included.

For DeanCassie (I also don't know if they have another ship name) I would say Michael? Which is kind of ironic considering that he was part of the love triangle but it just makes sense in my head for some reason. I can see him ragebaiting Dean (the father) and Cassie stepping in more gently. Then for Striggs, it's Dean. Peak only child when parents are feuding.
Wait so if dean's southern accent came back whilst speaking to trina and christopher simms because they're from his hometown, then why does it not come back when he speaks to briggs? Briggs is literally texan!!!
