A. I would say that after that pinning against the wall display with Lia showing Michael's arm she was absolutely furious and stormed off because she was terrified of losing Michael and she knows that she can't stop him from going to the Grand Ballroom and luring out the UNSUB.

I imagine that Michael sneaks off into her room that night, they have a verbal argument about Michael's actions and decisions, and then Michael kisses Lia mid-argument and they end up sleeping together because he's also secretly terrified of dying (though he won't admit it to anyone, especially not to himself) and he thinks this is the last time he's going to be with Lia ever again.

Of course, Michael doesn't die but that sparks their 'on' period once again.
