Easy Cherry Pie Bars-Sweet Fruity Dessert
Savor the flavors of a traditional cherry pie by consuming these Paleo-friendly bars. These guilt-free bars are made with almond flour and naturally sweetened with ingredients.
Ingredients: 2 cups almond flour. 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted. 1/4 cup maple syrup. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1 1/2 cups pitted cherries, halved. 2 tablespoons arrowroot flour. 2 tablespoons lemon juice. 2 tablespoons honey.
Instructions: Set the oven temperature to 175C 350F. Use parchment paper to line an 8 by 8-inch baking pan. Almond flour, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt should all be combined in a mixing bowl. Stir to form a dough. Evenly press about two thirds of the dough into the bottom of the baking pan that has been ready. Toss the cherries in arrowroot flour, lemon juice, and honey in a separate bowl until thoroughly coated. Cover the baking pan's crust with the cherry mixture. Scatter the leftover dough on top of the cherry layer. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the top begins to turn a light golden color, in a preheated oven. Chill thoroughly before slicing into bars. These Paleo Cherry Pie Bars are delicious!
