Experience the bold flavors of the Southwest with this Green Chile Elk Burger. The combination of lean elk meat, roasted green chiles, and melted cheddar cheese creates a burger that's both flavorful and satisfying.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground elk meat. 1/2 cup roasted and diced green chiles. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup diced onion. 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1 clove garlic, minced. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp black pepper. 4 burger buns. Lettuce, tomato, and condiments for topping.
Instructions: Ground elk meat, breadcrumbs, diced onion, shredded cheddar cheese, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl. Combine the parts until they are well mixed. Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty. Warm up your grill or pan on the stove by setting it on medium-high heat. Put the elk burger patties on the grill or pan and cook for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them. Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until they are just barely brown while the burgers are cooking. Take the elk burgers off the heat and let them rest for a minute after they're done the way you like them. Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun of each burger, then add the elk patty, tomato slices, and any toppings you like. Put the other half of the burger bun on top, and your Green Chile Elk Burger is ready to eat!
