Ingredients: 1 lb thinly sliced beef sirloin. 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced. 1 onion, thinly sliced. 2 cups shredded provolone cheese. 1 loaf of French bread, hollowed out. 2 tablespoons olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 375F 190C. In a skillet over medium heat, saut the thinly sliced beef sirloin, green bell pepper, and onion in olive oil until beef is cooked through and vegetables are tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Slice the French bread lengthwise and hollow out the center to create a space for the filling. Fill the hollowed-out French bread with the cooked beef, pepper, and onion mixture. Top with shredded provolone cheese, covering the beef mixture completely. Place the stuffed bread on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the bread is golden brown. Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing. Slice the stuffed bread into individual portions and serve hot. Enjoy your delicious Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Bread!
