Susan - Christmas wishlist Day 17 {Art trades}

this cat is an actual witch. i got home around midnight last night, pet the cat, she went on my bed so i begged her to leave for like 10 min which she eventually did. then i shut the door behind her and barricaded it with a chair (the door doesn't fully shut and the lock doesn't latch). i go to bed with a sports bra on and my oversized tee on standby.

at 6 am, i wake up to loud meowing. this cat is in my room on the floor. i look to the door, and it's open enough to let the cat in. i pull my t-shirt on because the door is also open enough for people to see into my room with me and just my sports bra on. i am very tired so i just pat the bed and she jumps up to join me.

many hours later, i wake up again. the cat is gone. the door is shut and the chair is once again blocking it. it's impossible to pull the chair flush against the door from the other side.

my cat really loves most of the music i play cuz she's grown up around a huge variety but she is really particularly fond of kendrick lamar, to the point where turning him off or if somebody else has a verse on one of his songs she will wake up with grumpy body language.

i brain rotted my poor baby by teaching her a lot about how phones work, mostly showing her that the people she hears in the phone are in fact people she loves but im not hiding them inside the phone.

this is very cute & makes her want to get on the phone but unfortunately she is very convinced kendrick lamar is one of those friends. now she always checks the front & back doors/rooms to see if he's finally come to say hello (i think she saw a funny moments comp of him once too which definitely doesn't help) 😭

sorry baby girl, i wish uncle kenny was coming to dinner too, he passed a major vibe check with me tho as she is definitely far more attached to some artists than others...

(she is also a big fan of the saxophone playing by kamasi washington, which would explain why kendrick is even more familiar to her. i bet she would love some thundercat)
