🎶 Hey look Ma, I made it. 🎶. You know that taste when you bite into that first strawberry of the summer season and you wish you could have that taste all year long? I know that the boy and I sure wish we could, especially when we bite into a bland, tasteless berry in the middle of February. I’ve had a cold cellar for several years now and finally decided to put it to good use and stock it up with the tastes of summer. I have seen others canning and making jams before but I have always been somewhat intimated by it. With the help of the @bernardincanning Home Canning Starter Kit, the boy and I were able make some jam with the taste of summer that we’ll enjoy well into the winter. This is I f I don’t eat it all beforehand. It tastes so good and it ended up being so much easier than I ever thought. I will definitely be making another batch when peaches are in their prime.
