We made 'My Special Pasta Salad' again. 🧡🧡🍁🐈‍⬛🧡🧡 We used only 'Vegetables From Our Garden' that we 'Harvested Ourselves'. 🧡🧡 'This Garden' has fed us all 'Summer'. Now that 'Autumn' (Fall) had begun it continues to feed us well. 🧡🧡 It is so amazing & 'Fantabulous' to have almost an 'Endless Supply Of Heathy Food' that only cost us 'Labor & Love' which we are always happy to provide & offer up. 🧡🧡🧡 I am so thankful that I was able to g we grow so much 'Nutritious Scrumdiddlyumptious Food'. I will be very sad when 'The Winter' makes it too cold for 'The Garden' to survive. 🧡🧡 At least I have been 'Canning' & 'Freezing' lots of 'The Garden's Treasures' all 'Summer' & 'Autumn' long. It may not be 'Freshly Picked'; but it was when I was working hard 'Preserving These Homegrown Treasures'. Which means 'My Garden' will 'Continue To Feed Us Through The Winter' & I think that is an 'Amazing, Beautiful, & Magical Thing. On 'Thursday, August 25, 2022' mom came over & I made 'Chicken Sscallopini' for us to eat for dinner for the first time in a very long time. ❤️❤️🍅🐈‍⬛❤️❤️ I always use a lot of 'Vegetables' & 'Herbs' when make 'This Dish'. Some of the vegetables that I used are, 'Heirloom Plum Tomatoes', 'Grape Tomatoes', 'Bell Peppers', 'Banana Peppers', 'Zucchinis', 'Onions', 'Garlic Cloves', 'Mushrooms', 'Capers', 'Green & Purple Basil', 'Parsley', 'Oregano', 'Tyme', & etc....... ❤️❤️ This time around everything but the 'Onions', 'Mushrooms', & 'Capers' were grown by me in 'My Beautiful Garden'. ❤️❤️❤️ While I was 'Concocting & Cooking' this lovely meal I was a little nervous because it's been a long time since I have made it & I couldn't find the book 'The Recipe' was in. This is also the first time I have made 'This Dish' using 'Fresh Tomatoes' from 'My Garden' instead of using 'Tomatoes' from cans. ❤️❤️ However, the outcome was glorious. I served it over 'Wide Egg Noodles'; but it can be eaten without being put over something too. Mom & I both agreed that it was the best 'Scaloppine' that we have ever had. The flavor was not only 'Spot On'; but 'To The Next Level'. It was so decadently delicious & definitely 'Scrumptiously Scrumdiddlyumptious'. ❤️❤️🥀🐈❤️❤️ I will definitely be doing this again, especially since my 'Summer Crop' is still producing like MAD. 😺❤️ One day I hope to have 'A Green House' so I can grow my own food & make 'Beautiful Meals' with what I grow 'All Year Round'. During holiday break, besides making gift bags like this pink kitty bag, I made two pairs of drawstring pajama pants with the pattern that I created during the pandemic in 2020. When I bought the flannel fabric a few weeks ago, I didn't know how much fabric I needed to sew my pants pattern. I really liked this black and white flannel fabric. It was a remnant, and I could not find a full bolt of it at SAS fabrics in Phoenix. You can see from the photos that it was just a couple of inches too narrow to cut out the pattern. I contemplated the cutting for a long time because I really wanted to make pants out of this fabric. If I tried to align pieces of plaid fabric with the legs, it would be difficult to make the sewing not look like a patch. In graphic design and clay, when I make a mistake or when something doesn't work out as planned, I try to make it part of the design. In the subsequent pictures, you can see how I jogged the pattern and cut the pants significantly shorter at capri length. Since it makes no sense to have capri length flannel pants, I turned the scrap pieces diagonally and cut sections to add to the pants to make them full length. I really like the way they turned out. The diagonal cuff looks like a design element rather than a way to use a small remnant to make a pair of pants. I found some black ribbon in one of my bins and used that for the tie. Also, I am super impressed that I was able to match the plaid all the way around on both pairs of pants. (Growing up, Mom made a lot of clothes for me, but she drew the line on plaid fabric.
