Stayed up too late doing a trial run of dill pickles using a recipe my brother asked me to try. I don't know what I'm doing, but I watched a 45 minute YouTube video on pickling and had nearly everything I needed already (and was lucky enough to find anything that isn't food at a thrift store), so here's to hoping the seal sticks. As I'm writing this, I can hear the lids popping in my kitchen, so I'm assuming at least one didn't properly seal. But I'll check them in the morning to verify. They're very toasty right now and I don't want to burn my fingers.
