I am obsessed with these buffalo tofu wraps! They're great for a vegetarian dinner or to meal prep for easy work lunches.
Two nights ago my brother and I made our own vegetarian version of JMU’s buffalo mash. We topped mashed potatoes with crispy baked tofu tossed in buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, and celery. We miss you @jamesmadisonuniversity @jmudining !!⠀ ⠀ Buffalo tofu #dEats : drain and press one block tofu then cut into cubes and baked at 400F for 20 min. After 20 min, flip the cubes and bake for another 10 min. Once done cooking, toss the tofu in buffalo sauce and serve. The buffalo sauce is 6 tbsp Frank’s red hot hot sauce and 3 tbsp melted butter.
This recipe offers a vegan twist on classic buffalo wings, using tofu instead of chicken. The tofu turns crispy and flavorful in the air fryer, while the buffalo sauce adds a spicy kick.
Ingredients: 1 block tofu, pressed and cut into cubes. 1/4 cup hot sauce. 2 tbsp soy sauce. 2 tbsp maple syrup. 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar. 1 tsp garlic powder. 1 tsp onion powder. 1/2 cup cornstarch. Cooking spray or oil for air frying.
Instructions: Preheat the air fryer to 400F 200C. In a bowl, mix hot sauce, soy sauce, maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder. Coat tofu cubes in cornstarch. Place coated tofu cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Spray lightly with cooking spray or brush with oil. Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until tofu is crispy and golden brown. Transfer the cooked tofu to a large bowl and pour the buffalo sauce over it. Toss gently to coat evenly.

These Baked Buffalo Tofu Bites are a vegan twist on a classic favorite. They are crispy, flavorful, and perfect for snacking or as a party appetizer. Plus, they're baked, not fried, making them a healthier alternative.
Ingredients: 1 block extra-firm tofu, pressed and drained. 1/2 cup buffalo sauce. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 tablespoon soy sauce. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon onion powder. 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika. 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional. Salt and pepper to taste. Cooking spray or parchment paper.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 400F 200C. Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes and place them in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together the buffalo sauce, olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper if using, salt, and pepper. Pour the sauce over the tofu cubes and gently toss until all the tofu is coated. Arrange the tofu cubes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or sprayed with cooking spray, making sure they are evenly spaced. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the tofu is crispy and golden brown. Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or alongside celery and carrot sticks. Enjoy!
