Moussa:
Moussa (he/they) is a hrihriwa, which means he can shapeshift into any combination of human and horse. He's next-in-line to be Lord of the A'atwe, a peaceful little clan of horses, humans, and hrihriwa, who spend most of their days farming. Despite being prince of the hicks, and preferring to spend his days embroidering or reading poetry, rather than engaging in politics, Moussa has a big head about their lot in life. They genuinely aren't trying to be mean when they condescend to people who are lower in rank. There's not a mean bone in his body, he's just vapid and can't pick up on social cues to save his life.
Buckeye:
Buckeye is a "reconstructionist"- he lives on the plains with a band of wives and satellite males the way Ysgalin [citizens of the centaur-human country Ysgal] did before settled civilization took over the roaming band style. He mostly sticks to it, but people have seen his ass popping into the singular taco bell Ysgal has. Who can blame him? Man loves a baja blast and they don't have the bottles over there yet. He's a grade A cocky asshole who thinks he's hot shit, and to be honest he is, by Ysgal standards, very good looking. He's good enough at what he does for his few friends to keep around, and his bandmates like him well enough to live with him as the band leader. Fun fact: The blonde in his hair and tail is bleached; nobody helps him do it, so he pulls his tail up between his forelegs to get at it. This results in a bleached strip on his balls and he never gets any less bitchy about it during the day or two after.
