I love how universally appealing skunk cabbage is. r/foraging has been full of posts like this for the last few weeks and I can't blame them. Big green luscious-looking cabbage-looking thing pops up all over among a sea of brown and it's April in the northeast and we haven't seen green for months. God I WISH you could eat skunk cabbage*. *Technically edible after extensive processing to remove the calcium oxalate that'll fuck up your kidneys but probably not worth it even then
