wikipedia says they grow 1-3 feet, rarely 4 feet tall

yes it is a wild carrot and not poison hemlock; i have positivity identified it. stems are hairy with no purple spots, bracts are present, and there are ruby florets in the middle of each umbra.

should i try to collect its seeds? i don't think it's illegal to propagate where i live.

since it's flowering the root is almost certainly too hard to eat but just. how is it that fucking tall??? i wanna experiment with it.
