Lily stays back during break bc rzns ig and she's mostly alone so while she's wandering around the school she finds the gray lady (fingers crossed thats her acc name bc i nvr checked) and thinks oh! Cool ghost! And likenshe has an assignment in history of magic abt a mythical creature so she just decides to get that out the way kill 2 birds w 1 stone and all that and she finds the gray lady interesting and whatever but the gray lady I'd like 🥹🥹she's asking me qns .. she cares!

And she gets rlly obsessed w lily and gen thinks she is Peak of human existence or whatever

And she basically stalks lily who's like ? Bc lily is basically everything the gray lady like wanted to be: bright, fiery, determined, smart, clearly her parents favourite kid...

Then the gray lady tries shooting her shot subtly and lily CLEARLY knos abt her attempts but is like?? She's litr a ghost?? So she acts dumb bc ain't no way she shaboinking a ghost

They get sorta close (as close as a hser and a ghost could get) and like hang out near the ravneclaw tower but lily keeps pointedly ignoring the gray lady's "flirting" and the gray lady keeps falling even more in luh w lily bc lily is sawr intelllecdtusals and whatevs

And then the bloody baron hears and is mad bc ?? Ain't no way this HIGSCHOOLER stole his huzz like that so he tries harming lily somehow but rowena hears of this thru her presence at the school (idk man ?) and like comes back saying nuh uh and her and the bloody baron fight in a ghost duel or smth (ive nvr died i woukdnt kno) bc the bloody baron alr killed her daughter no way she is letting him kill again esp in front of her house's tower

And lily watches roaena win obvi and gets the hots bc yeah rowenas a little sickly / pale/ litr a SPIRIT?!? But lily falls for her imm and HARD not rlly like lust?? But more of a DEEEP DEEEP admiration for rowena and dk if they acc get tghtr but lily like loves rowneas inetellecdtsiualims and shit and the gray lady's watching this go down the whole time like >:0 bc imagine ur mom getting ur fine shyt after outshine u ur whole life so she gets super pushed and when rowena goes back to the spirit world (lily is sad but she gets over it wuiet wuickly bc it didnt consume her whole life + she doesnt get obsessed easily)

The gray lady starts bullying lily smth HEAVY like acc makes her life HELL walks into her in the middle of winter so that lily would get super cold convinces peeves 5o target lily etc etc like it gets to the point lily can't even GO to the ravenclaw tower bc of the gray lady and all her friends find it hilarious how over break lily got beef w a ghost and most of them don't kno the real rzn why bc it makes lily feel awkward / weird

Yhen lily leav3s school and the gray lady's like wait no :( and Harry comes and asks her a t the diadem and she wants to help lily out after making her life hell so she tells Harry abt it...she can't look into his eyes tho..
