Peripagenic
An adaptive origin term for systems formed from the stress of moving house/state/country multiple times over their life.
I was looking for origin terms that have something to do with constantly moving house and couldn't find anything so I thought I'd try my hand at making my own term. The flag was more for fun but I liked it so much I thought id share. This is for all of us who had parents that didn't understand a stable living situation is key for development lol
I also think this origin term could be used as a created type origin too if one felt they had more influence in their changes/intentionally changed themselves every move and it turned into something more. And honestly anyone who feels this fits in someway I wont gatekeep it
Some fun facts
The name is based on the word Peripatetic. Which means "traveling from place to place, in particular working or based in various places for relatively short periods."
The design is supposed to mimic looking at streetlight through the window of a car in the dark. I have astigmatism so its influenced by that unintentionally lol. But it also looks like when you take a picture of the lights. I tried to give it a sort of dreary but familiar color scheme. But its my first flag so how well i pulled this all off is debatable
I feel like the plural community has so many terms so when ever I stumble on a section of the plural experience that only has few very general terms I'm surprised. I know I'm valid or whatever even without a subterm or flag but, to put it simply, I just like them lol.
So basically I'm thinking of making a few terms surrounding family units in plural systems and also maybe expand the definition of natalgenic(a system member that was born into the system). Maybe give it some sub terms too.
I have my own ideas but. If you have an experience surrounding in system families or any kind of internal "Birth" that you feel you haven't seen talked about often. Feel free to talk reply or dm me about it. Id love to learn more about that side of systems to both understand myself more and to expand on the general system family experience knowledge out there
"Nurse, reality is falling apart" "You'll get used to it"
When you create a really cool animation and all your friends tell you the nurse looks like nurse joy π
Can y'all stop trying to turn plural positivity posts into your venting outlet. Your allowed to feel less positively about being a system but others are trying to spread positivity and y'all need to let people be happy
Saw someone talking about how cool being plural is on a neurological level (like in a 'look what brains can do' kinda way) and someone in the comments was like "yeah it's cool but it's so lonely" like maybe this is mean but shut the fuck up and go make a vent post or something
It has the same energy as when people post about being in a relationship and all the miserable single people complain in the comments. Insufferable. Truely

I still see their face in the reflections of the parts of me I let them handle. like an old TV screen, imprinted and burned with the title card of my grandmothers favorite sitcom
The Ill Princess And Her Loyal Knight.
Local Knight gets on one knee and declares her life dedicated to protecting the princess. Which could mean nothing.
I think most people's first exposure to plurality is religion(Christianity specifically) but they don't realize it
God as an entity has plurality weaved into it. He is the father, the son, and the holy Spirit. He is the world, the sky, the sea. He is one but he exists in multiplicity
However. A big exposure to demonization of plurality is with Christianity too. Some priests arnt like this but many do not take kind to talk of God as anything other than one being despite this described ability to express his power through different identities. But viewing gods existence with any complexity is looked down upon most times.
I'm not a Christian and I'm certainly not religious anymore. But I've come to realize religion like has a larger part to play in my system than I realized. Or at ye very least contributed to the normalization of the thought process (that one is not multiple even when distinctly split)
Just something interesting
