I know I haven't been here in a while. I haven't really had the time to just sit on my computer and reblog things all day. I wish I had the time. I have so much to say and Tumblr is going to be my outlet at the moment. Today, November 12, 2012, is my one year initiation anniversary in Theta Phi Alpha. I am a sister of the Alpha Lambda new member class in the Gamma Alpha Chapter. As I sit here and stare at this screen, I can't help but to get emotional over this. The past year or so of my life has been a crazy whirlwind of new happenings and situations. I truthfully don't know if I would've made it through without my sisters, especially my new member class sisters. Since bid day, we have been pretty much inseparable. We ate lunches together, went to New Member Academy together, and enjoyed each others' company as we traveled along in our journey to initiation. They have seen me laugh until I've cried and vice versa. They've been a part of some of the most ridiculous, embarrassing, and hilarious things that I've done in my life thus far. These ladies have been my support system since day one. I never thought that I would create this bond with them. They are my best friends. These are the women that will be a part of my wedding party. These are the women that I'll be able to call when I'm 30 years old and have a conversation with as if we talked every day. Alpha Lambda is my home team; the team that I will always cheer for, support, and be loyal to. I love my new member class so much that I have the Alpha and Lambda letters tattooed on me, along with 3 of my fellow new member class sisters. I knew from the beginning that the sisterhood of Theta Phi Alpha is for life, but now I have a constant reminder every time I catch a glance of the Alpha Lambda on my skin. Becoming a sister of Theta Phi Alpha was the best decision I've ever made. As I finish this off, I can't even think of the correct words to end this upon because I feel as though there is nothing I can say to truly make anyone understand how I feel about Alpha Lambda and this organization. I am so thankful and honored to be a part of a sisterhood that lasts forever.
