How to make school a bit easier if you have ADHD (or struggle with your attention span)
Use pomodoros:
A pomodoro is a work method where you work for 25 minutes, take a five minute break, and repeat four times. If you go on YouTube and search "ASMR pomodoro" you'll find tons of videos you can work along to. I've found it to be very helpful to have another person holding me accountable for the work I'm doing (even if they're only there via a screen)
Set a timer:
This is similar to the first tip, but if you set a timer for 2 minutes (the amount of time can vary based on what you want) and work for the entirety of that amount of time, then you'll already be started. Sometimes, getting started in the hardest part, so if you do that, it could be helpful.
Reward yourself for the work you do:
I've realized that if I set a goal for myself based on the work I want to get done and that alone, I'll never accomplish it. If I say, "okay, I'm going to get x y z done, and then I'll watch my favorite movie afterwards!" that works really well. (at least for me)
