Shit i wanna get done this month:

🪐 sleep more and better

🪐 go to AS MANY LECTURES AS POSSIBLE (i work best when I don't miss my lectures)

🪐 start going to the gym/working out

🪐 start doing my homework even when it seems scary cuz it's always easier when i just start it

🪐 start participating on my seminars as much as possible cuz i gitta do it ugly and i gitta do it badly if i wanna do it well one day

🪐 spend more time outside

I can't think of anything else that I need to do right now so this is the plan for this month.

And i am. Struggling to stay organised and motivated. This is basically just a place for me to try out various things that might help and document it so I dont try the same unhelpful thing 10 billion times. Also probably gonna try and track how much I do each day. Maybe.

Me: so will he be taking medication?

Parents: oh no, the psychiatrist suggests that it's best for him to decide if he wants to take it

I can visibly see the parents kinda tensing their shoulders here and I had to check my own immediate reaction, because the boy is a handful and I wish he'd settle down faster, but then I remember what it's like to be a kid and have big decisions made for me, and the stuff about children having the right to make some decisions for themselves esp if it will affect them hugely.

Me: yeah of course, it's his body

Parents: *visibly relax*

Anyway, thanks to everyone who has talked about bodily autonomy and child rights, I definitely took the lessons to heart.
