One time I was talking to a straight man about how much I love that we get not one, but TWO canonically bi women in Legend of Korra and he straight up said to me that while Asami was bi, Korra was actually a lesbian the whole time because “look at her”
As a bi woman I got so pissed. The more masc brown girl isn’t feminine enough to NOT be a lesbian despite having both Mako AND Bolin instantly finding her hot? and her literally dating Mako? But the lighter skin fem girl can be bi? It’s almost like because HE wasn’t attracted to Korra she couldn’t possibly be anything by a lesbian. And guess what? there IS a lesbian in that show in Kya!

But anyway, my problems with the entire Rava/Vatu storyline aside, I love the headcanon that Rava likes women because every avatar we know thus far is attracted to women.
