I HAVE A LOT OF THOUGHTS
"I hope we see the Air Kids in Seven Havens!"
" I wanna see Asami!"
Cowards. I wanna see Mako.
Mind you its not like I'm a big Mako fan or anything. In fact, I don't really care for him at all. I just think it'd be funny.
Like the fandom expects Pavi to get spiritual guidance from Jinora or have a heartfelt union with Asami.
Nope just Mako.
If Avatar Studios wanted to have even more fun?
Make one of Mako's kids join team Avatar. Like they're some of the first people we meet.
We don’t meet anyone else. Everyone else is dead. It's just Mako.
I don't even know what he would do for Pavi's journey as the Avatar or in general. I just wanna him to be there.
"Why?" You ask.
Why not? 🤷♀️
He meets Pavi and instead of some sweet heartfelt welcome back or whatever she just makes some one off snarky comment about Mako being a jerk and he's like "yep, you're Korra's reincarnation alright."
What are your theories about Seven Heaves? What kind of dynamic do you expect or imagine between Pavi and Jae (considering their significant age gap)?(Also, looking at the other casting sheets and their descriptions)
Good question! I haven’t looked at the casting calls recently, I only skimmed them once a year or so ago, and I’m trying to keep myself relatively in the dark so I can go into the series relatively blind. But I’ll list my main theories below:
1. Korra supposedly “destroying” the world was a result of her trying to protect the world and dying as a result. The world may have gotten fucked up as a result, but it literally would have been destroyed completely without her intervention IMO.
2. I’m hoping that they will try to do away with the more Western idea of good/evil that they associated Raava and Vaatu with in s2 of LoK. Raava and Vaatu should be more like Tui and La, Yin and Yang. They are two halves of the same whole, and neither one can ever be fully destroyed, because a part of them always exists in the other. Additionally, I don’t think that Nisha (Pavi’s twin) possibly having Vaatu fused with her spirit is going to be a bad thing. I think the twins will eventually learn how to fight together in a balanced way. There may be some sort of misunderstanding at first, and maybe Korra tries to tell Pavi that her sister is bad news/beyond saving bc she has Vaatu fused with her, but I’d love to see Pavi reject that and give Nisha a chance.
3. Jae is going to be a sort of mentor/older brother figure for Pavi, and I hope that he’s going to have a significant male love interest that joins the group or is at least a prominent recurring character. It’s about time we had a main male character in the Avatar Legends universe who is canonically gay! I also think Jae may be a descendant of Aang and Katara, though if it turns out he’s not, that won’t bother me.
4. Korra died in old age. This more of a sincere hope than a theory, because she already went through so much. I want her to have lived a long happy life with Asami before the cataclysm occurred. The world looks to be very far into the future, so I have my fingers crossed that this is the case… I just hope they don’t pull a Kuruk with her 😭
That’s pretty much everything I can think of for now - like I said, I’ve been avoiding looking too much into casting calls or leaks because I’d really like to go into the series blind. I know some people are wary about it, but I’m personally very excited for Seven Havens.
For the record I don't think Korra actually destroyed the world or whatever - I think society is just going to do what it's going to do and... Place blame on the avatar (cause who else is a better fit to take the blame here than the master of all 4 elements / person who's supposed to bring harmony and /or balance to the world?)
Happened to Roku, happened to Aang (probably happened to Wan) - now it's Korra's turn.

Found out from this that apparently for Avatar: Seven Havens they took some inspiration from Moebius and YES FUCK YES YEAH you can def see that inspo in the promo art they released. An Avatar take on a Moebius world? I am so fucking geeked I wish I could say I wasn't.
//Korra is a good person who has only ever made efforts to help protect life of all kinds. Whatever happened to make the Avatar be seen as "humanity's destroyer" is much more likely a result of the cataclysmic events beyond the Avatar's control. Not to mention how easy it is for hate, ignorance, and misinformation to spread within society -- especially one that is quick to blame the Avatar. And I'm sure there's an evil figure at the head of all this who is truly responsible and spinning the story in their favor.
I just know Bryke has whipped up another good one for us. I'm very, very excited to watch the new series! And I can't wait to see how the airbenders have developed. I hope to see the air kids all grown up and each one leading one of these "seven havens."
a tumbrl user: "Make an azula centered story or atleast have her make a cameo appereance in seven havens"
Me: "jesus how old is she then 200?? Unless being in the spirit world is a normal retirement option"
I think Azula should show up as she was at like 15 and it shouldn't be explained once, she should just be there and no one thinks twice about it
