youtube recommended a 'watch how i re-show a horse' video and the guy was answering some common questions as he worked like "does [clipping the hoof, nailing, burning] hurt the horse" and he just says "if i was doing anything that the horse did not want me to or made it scared or uncomfortable, i would No Longer be standing underneath it. hope this helps."
