He’s literally “decribing x to an alien and trying to get them to draw it”. The diner, hanging with the boys, the activity of fishing, Flowery is having to piece together what all of that means, and he can barely get close. He’s trying so hard to understand the outside world, but he’s never seen any of it. He’s so desperate in a way we’ve never seen other darkners, not even Ralsei (who can move between dark worlds). And he can’t even be a darkner for very long without it killing him. Oohhhh the tragedy of it all. He’s wrong and then he’s dead.

but they are so precious to me....
