Treasure wasn't sure what time it was when they finally opened their eyes. It had been a long night, longer than they were used to
The man laying next to them, arm slung over their waist and his nose resting against their spine. The prior nights events slowly replaying in their mind as they gently lift the (remarkably heavy) arm off of their body. After reaching around for their phone they're met with a half dozen angry messages from their friends. The typical "where the hell are you" and "what the fuck is wrong with you I saw you leaving with some random guy??" Messages left in the group chat. Though they clearly didn't care that much as the conversation had quickly turned from mild concern for Treasure into a recap of their night and planning of the next hang out.
Already annoyed they throw their legs out of the bed and start picking clothes up off the floor to get dressed and get themself together. A pair of boxers and a shirt that definitely isn't theirs the first thing they find and pull on as they try to make their way to the upsettingly large bathroom with three different sinks
Somehow in the behemoth of a space they find an unused toothbrush and set about a relatively normal morning routine. All the while in the back of their mind wondering if they'll actually be able to walk out with no issue. A moment of concern as they remember what they agreed to the night before. Porter has seemed genuine enough in saying that they could remember him, their only real concern that they wouldn't be able to find a way back to the city
Between them searching for both shoes and calling a friend to let them know they were safe, Porter had woken up and was now watching them lazily from the bed. A mildly amused expression on his face as he observed his treasures frazzled morning after appearance. His voice soft and gravely as he asks where they think they're going so early. Especially as he is still quite tired in the early morning hours he'd usually be sleeping through.
Treasure; understandably, goes rigid and turns back toward him. Halfway through pulling on their shoes they fix him with a wry smile and dry sarcasm as they ask why that's any of his business. The two of them stare at each other for a few moments before Treasures expression softens and they walk over to kiss him, unsure of what else would be appropriate in that moment
A shocked noise leaves their lips as they kiss him though because his arm hooks around them and pulls them back down on top of him. Treasure braces their hands on his shoulders and relaxes into the kiss for a few minutes
Resting their forehead against his after they separate, they slowly catch their breath and ask if they can go home. They have a few hours before work and need to clean themself up, and they want to make sure they're presentable
Porter finally released them from his gentle hold and asked if they would allow him to heal the heaviest of the hickies and deepest bite marks. He also asks that they let him take them back to their car, understanding that asking to take them all the way home would be too much in that moment
Their agreement comes out quiet as they look at the clothes they're in and realize they are in his clothes, a sheepish expression on their face. Though the smirk on his face says he doesn't mind the sight, they ask where he magicked their clothes away too so that they can be properly dressed on the run/drive home
By the time they were returned to their car, Porter had given them his number and asked to keep in contact. Once they're home they take a deep breath and slide down the wall next to the door down to the floor wrapping their arms around their knees. Their whole being feeling as though it had been put through the spin cycle of a washing machine on high. Their fingers tracing over their neck where they can still feel the indents of his teeth on their skin and the memory of digging their nails into his back at the forefront of their mind as they come down from the emotional high that came from finding out not only vampires exist, but a whole magical society they only ever dreamed about on the lonely nights they spent by themselves. Something entirely new and unknown swirling through their mind as they sent a message to their boss saying they came down with a sickness and need the day off as they wandered towards their bed and fell face first on to their favorite pillow and went to sleep
